(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka has administered the highest number of COVID-19 vaccine doses in a single day yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 384,763 individuals were administered COVID jabs yesterday.
338,572 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 35,410 were administered the second dose.
3,365 individuals were administered the first dose of the Sputnik-V jab while 7,416 persons were given the Pfizer dose.
Accordingly, 6,462,283 COVID-19 doses have been administered thus far in Sri Lanka while 1,583,740 persons have been fully vaccinated.
