Pfizer vaccines to arrive in SriLanka on Tuesday

(UTV | COLOMBO) – State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Channa Jayasumana says Sri Lanka will receive the first consignment of a stock of Pfizer vaccine doses on Tuesday.

Accordingly 26,000 vaccine doses will be delivered as part of the purchase.

He noted another stock of 26,000 vaccines will be delivered sometime next week.

The State Minister revealed a further 200,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be delivered to Sri Lanka in future.

Moreover, the Moderna vaccine will also be imported to Sri Lanka as part of a puechase made by the government in future.
