Eight-time Muay Thai world champion Miriam ‘The Queen of Mean’ Nakamoto has been set as the lead of the action-romance movie “Wildwood” for Number 11 Entertainment.
Nakamoto will play a young woman on the run from her mother and a pair of hired killers who stumbles into a small town, where she’s mistaken for a local girl who vanished years earlier.
Delany Bishop (“Terror Eyes”) helms from a script by Cara Vescio and filming begins later this year. Despite the serious-sounding premise, the tone is said to be “fun and irreverent”. Keith Wells and Michelle Seanez will produce.
