(UTV | HAMBANTOTA) – Imprisoned former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake, who is serving a 4-year Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) at the Angunakolapelessa Prison, has been directed to the Karapitiya Hospital.
Ramanayake had been referred to the Karapitiya Hospital for a medical test by his doctor, the Daily Mirror quoted the Spokesperson of the Prisons Department, Chandana Ekanayake.
The actor-turned-politician was later brought to the Prison after the test.
