(UTV | COLOMBO) – Acting Solicitor General Sanjay Rajaratnam took oath as the new Attorney General (AG) of Sri Lanka.
He took oaths as the new AG before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat today (26).
President’s Counsel (PC) Sanjay Rajaratnam replaced AG Dappula de Livera, who was appointed to the post in May 2019.
Dappula de Livera retired yesterday (25) from his position as the AG after serving for a period of 2-years.
