Sri Lanka bans travellers from India

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka has banned travellers from India with immediate effect.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) stated that travellers from India will not be allowed to disembark in Sri Lanka.

The decision has been taken to curtail the spread of the 3rd wave of COVID-19 in the country.

Several countries have banned travellers from India as well as Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries.
