(UTV | COLOMBO) – Meegahawatta Police Station has been temporarily closed after the Officer in Charge (OIC) and another Police Officer of the Police Station tested positive for COVID-19.
Accordingly, a total of 40 Police Officers have been subjected PCR tests, according to the area Public Health Inspector.
At present the duties of the Meegahawatta Police are being carried out at the Meegahawatta Nagarukkarama Temple and a team of officers from the surrounding police stations have been attached for those duties.
