SC concludes further consideration of petitions filed against Port City Bill for today

(UTV| COLOMBO) – The petitions filed against the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill will be heard in the Supreme Court for the 4th time today (April 22).

It is before a five-member bench headed by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya.

Interim petitions will be heard today and consideration of petitions will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court yesterday (21) ordered that written submissions on petitions and interlocutory petitions pertaining to the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill be filed before 12:00 p.m. on the 23rd of April.
