Schools to be monitored by PHIs

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) to continue to monitor schools, with the reopening of schools in the Western Province for all grades from tomorrow (29).

Accordingly, the schools will be inspected regularly by PHIs.

Sri Lankan Health Authorities issued a set of guidelines to schools ahead of the reopening as the threat due to the COVID-19 still remains in the country.

Health guidelines urge the schoolchildren to wear face masks when outdoors, maintain social distancing, and to wash their hands before entering and after exiting classrooms.
