Ransone reunites with “Sinister” duo

(UTV| COLOMBO) – James Ransone will reunite with his “Sinister” co-star Ethan Hawke and director Scott Derrickson on the new horror film “The Black Phone” for Blumhouse and Universal.

Based on a Joe Hill short story, the story concerns a kidnapped girl (Madeleine McGraw) who finds herself in a soundproof basement surrounded by the remains of other victims.

When night falls, the antique – and disconnected – telephone in the room begins to ring with the calls from the dead.

Hawke will play the kidnapper, Jeremy Davis and Mason Thames play the girl’s parents. Ransone’s role is under wraps beyond playing a character named ‘Max’.
