(UTV | COLOMBO) – The decision to complete funerals in 24-hours will be implemented soon, the Government stated.
Accordingly, the number of people attending funerals will be reduced, the Acting Minister of Health, Channa Jayasumana said the provision will be reintroduced to reduce the number of people attending parties including weddings to 50.
The Minister said that night clubs will be under special focus and attending entertainments during the pandemic will be dangerous.
He said that the public will be informed of the laws soon.
