Michael B. Jordan could direct “Creed 3”

Actor Michael B. Jordan is reportedly set to make his directorial debut with a third “Creed” feature at MGM according to The Playlist.

The news was part of a report from Deadline yesterday with official comments from MGM shooting down talk of the distribution rights to “No Time to Die” being sold to a streaming service.

The trade offers no further details and there is no official announcement by MGM or Jordan about the possibility. Jordan has, in the past, been quick to confirm his involvement in projects like he did the other month for the “Static Shock” comic adaptation in the works.

Last year producer Irwin Winkler suggested Jordan was being offered the director’s chair, a similar offer Winkler made to Sylvester Stallone following the success of the first “Rocky”.

MGM had previously set screenwriter Zach Baylin to pen the script for a third “Creed”.
