Over 29,900 have undergone quarantine measures

UTV | COLOMBO -The Sri Lanka Army says 29,935 persons have been directed to quarantine facilities since the government launched efforts to quarantine groups owing to the coronavirus.

Army media Spokesman Brigadier Chandana Wickramasinghe said 22,650 individuals have thus far completed quarantine measures.

The Brigadier said another 7,285 persons are presently housed at 60 quarantine centres set up by the Tri-Forces.
