UTV | COLOMBO – Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake says the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna is the biggest challenge for the United National Party at the next General Election.
Speaking to media in Kandy, Minister Karunanayake said the UNP is a practical political organisation that has rendered yeomen service to the country throughout the history.
He said the UNP will also initiate a practical development programme after winning the General Election for the benefit of the people.
The Former Minister noted that the UNP is not prepared to deceive the public through false promises in a bid to garner votes.
He said the UNP will unveil a pragmatic programme that will have solutions to current challenges faced by the country.
