3,000 persons directed to self-isolate

UTV | COLOMBO – The Public Health Inspectors Union says more than 3,000 persons in 16 districts have been directed to self-isolate.

Secretary Mahendra Balasuriya said among those who were directed to self-isolate were persons who associated inmates of the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre, staff members and their families.

The PHI said along with associates of persons at the Kandakadu Centre who tested positive for COVID-19, coronavirus cases have been recorded from 16 districts.
