General Election related complaints rise to 2,781

UTV | COLOMBO – The National Election Commission says 2,781 complaints have been lodged with the Commission thus far related to flouting of election laws.

166 complaints were lodged with the Commission during a 24-hour period that ended at 4pm yesterday.

The Election Commission in a statement said 700 complaints have been lodged with the National Election Complaints Management Centre while 2,781 complaints have been lodged with the District Election Complaints Management Centre thus far.
