222 to leave quarantine facilities today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – 222 individuals are expected to leave five dedicated quarantine facilities maintained by Tri-Forces, today.

Military Spokesperson Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe said 13,875 individuals have completed the quarantine procedure at dedicated centres thus far.

Meanwhile, 4,387 persons are being held at 43 quarantine facilities at present.

Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe added that 174 Tri-Forces personnel who have contracted the novel coronavirus are currently receiving medical treatment at various hospitals.
