Colin Farrell’s Penguin prosthetics confirmed

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Actor Rob McClure, who was playing the lead role in the stage adaptation of “Mrs. Doubtfire” on Broadway, has dropped an interesting reveal on a video chat.

McClure says he recently visited an FX company to get outfitted for the prosthetics needed to help him play the Scottish nanny character made famous by late comedian Robin Williams.

Whilst there he learned that the same company was working on Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” film and McClure managed to get to see some of the work they were doing on the design of Colin Farrell’s prosthetic make-up to play The Penguin in the film.

This confirms that the Irish hunk will indeed be undergoing some physical changes for the film. At last report earlier this year, Farrell said they were still working out the character’s look so it wssn’t clear if they intended to do a full prosthetic treatment.

“The Batman” currently remains top secret with the film recently pushed back several months to an October 2021 release.
