Suspect arrested with Ice at Central Mail Exchange

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A 29-year-old man who arrived to collect a parcel containing 502 grams of crystal Methamphetamine, a stimulant drug popularly known as Ice, had been arrested CME yesterday, the Police said.

They said that the investigations had revealed the parcel had been sent to the CME from Mexico and had a street value of over Rs. 7 million.

They said the suspect was arrested by officers of the CME, Customs and Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB).

The suspect, resident of Pannipitiya, would be produced in the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
