Vehicle imports down in 2020

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka says the importation of vehicles have reduced drastically in the new year.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal in the isle, President of the Vehicle Importers Association Ranjan Peiris attributed the reduction to the increase in levy imposed on luxury vehicles.

He claimed that the public have also shown little interest in importing vehicles in recent weeks.
