Wasim Thajudeen case to be heard today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The case pertaining to concealing evidence in the murder of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen will be taken up for hearing once again today.

Indictments were filed against former Colombo Chief Judicial Medical Officer Professor Ananda Samarasekara at the Colombo High Court when the case was last taken up for hearing on the 26th of August.

Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne ordered for Samarasekara to be released on a Rs. 25,000 cash bail and two surety bails of Rs.1 million each.
