New army chief calls on President

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The new Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva has called on President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (27).

The meeting has taken place at the Presidential Secretariat.

The Army Chief has presented a memento to the President to mark his assumption of duties as the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
