A/L paper marking commences today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The marking of General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A/L) Examination papers will be carried out today (28) by 8,466 teachers attached to 498 panels.

Accordingly, 12 schools utilise as paper marking centres will be closed until 13 September, while another 26 schools will be partially closed to facilitate paper marking.

The schools that will be partially closed for this purpose will reopen for the third academic term on 16 September.

Meanwhile, the second phase of paper marking will commence from 15 September to 01 October, while the third stage will commence between 24 September and 08 October.
