Navy nabs 2 persons with heroin

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy apprehended two persons with 210g of heroin, during a raid conducted at Piergama area in Thalaimannar, yesterday (21).

Accordingly, two persons with this amount of heroin and a dinghy were taken into Naval custody by North Central Naval Command during a raid carried out at Piergama beach area in Thalaimannar.

The arrested suspects were identified as Sinhala and Tamil residents of Negombo and Thlaimannar areas aged 31 and 42. Two suspects along with the amount of heroin and the dinghy were handed over to Mannar Police for onward action.
