13 SRI LANKANS DEPORTED FROM AUSTRALIA

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Thirteen Sri Lankans who had illegally migrated to Australia were deported and arrived at the Katunayake International Airport this morning.

All of them were males and they have gone to Australia using a multi-day fishing vessel.

The group had been deported from Australia in a special flight under the protection of a large number of security personnel from Australia.

The Immigration and Emigration Department officials of the Katunayake Airport said that after receiving the deported men at the airport they have been handed over to the CID for further investigations.
