Archbishop refuses to meet Presidential candidates

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith is refusing to meet any Presidential candidate until the investigations related to the Easter Sunday attacks are expedited.

He announced his stand at a media briefing yesterday (31).

The Archbishop stated that he would not meet any Presidential candidate unless and until an independent and transparent commission was appointed to probe the Easter Sunday attacks and the complete truth behind it was divulged to the people.
