‘Sectors affected by 04/21 to be normalised by August’

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister Wajira Abeywardene says all sectors affected by the Easter Sunday attacks will be restored to normalcy by August.

The Minister said despite the many challenges the government successfully enforced development in the country.

The Minister claimed that each electorate will receive Rs.300 million for projects in rural areas by the 30th of August.

Minister Abeywardene noted that 25,000 such projects have already commenced with a total of 45,000 projects to be implemented across all districts.

He said following the issues the country faced, the government hoped the tourism sector and all other sectors will return to normalcy by August, adding the government has taken all measures towards this purpose.
