Former Defence Secretary, IGP admitted to hospital

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Former Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Hemasiri Fernando and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara have respectively admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo and Police Hospital in Narahenpita on Tuesday (02).

Fernando and Jayasundara had been given notice to appear before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today to record a statement over the Easter Sunday attacks.
