Catholic schools in Colombo likely to re-open after Vesak

(UTV|COLOMBO) – According to the Deputy General Manager in charge of Catholic schools in the Colombo Archdiocese, Reverend Father Gemunu Dias, it was likely that Colombo schools would re-open next week.

Since the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith has requested Principals of Catholic Schools in the Colombo Archdiocese to decide the re-opening date of these schools, they will do so in consultation with Security Authorities and with the support of parents, past pupils and teachers, he stated.
