Minister Rishad visits conflict hit Minuwangoda [PICTURES]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC), Minister Rishad Bathiudeen on Tuesday (14) visited the areas in Minuwangoda where rampaging mobs, outnumbered Police and Security Forces, set fire to Muslim-owned shops, vandalised homes and smashed windows, furniture and fittings inside several Mosques.

The Minister who inspected the security situation, met and discussed with the locals in the conflict hit areas.

Parliamentarians and members of the ACMC accompanied the Minister of Industry and Commerce Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Cooperative Development, Skills Development and Vocational Training.
