(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Government Information says academic activities at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura which was temporarily closed due to security concerns will recommence next Tuesday the 14th of May.
Examinations of the Faculties of Commerce and Business Management that were postponed will be held on the 14th with lectures of the two faculties due to commence on the 15th.
Academic activity of the Engineering Faculty will commence on a later date that is yet to be announced.
The Administration of the Sri Jayewardenepura University informed students to report to dormitories by the 13th of May.
Academic activities are commencing at the University in phases based on the advice of the University Grants Commission.
