Students urged to apply for NICs

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department for Registration of Persons has requested the students sitting for the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary and Advanced Level (O/L and A/L) Examinations to promptly apply for the National Identity Card (NIC).

It is reported that only 60 per cent of examination applicants have submitted their NIC applications thus far.
