(UTV|COLOMBO) – “Billions” star Paul Giamatti has joined the cast of the action thriller “Gunpowder Milkshake” at Studiocanal and The Picture Company.
Story details are under wraps but is said to focus on a mother-daughter assassin duo played by Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”) and Karen Gillan (“Avengers: Endgame”). Angela Bassett also stars in the film in which most cast will be female. Giamatti is one of the few male leads, and is a character said to be “to whom all others are connected”.
Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado (“Big Bad Wolves”) are directing the project which begins filming June 3rd in Berlin. The pair also wrote the script with Ehud Lavski, while Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman will produce.
