“Pakistan ready to provide any assistance to Sri Lanka” – Qureshi

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday (03) visited the Sri Lankan High Commission in Islamabad to offer condolence over the loss of precious lives in terrorist attacks in the island country on Easter Sunday (21), the Radio Pakistan reported.

The Minister wrote a condolence message on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan in the Visitors’ Book at the High Commission.

Condemning the suicide attacks on the occasion of Easter, Qureshi said “Pakistan expresses solidarity with its friendly country Sri Lanka and is standing by it in this difficult moment.”

He asserted that Pakistan is ready to provide any assistance to Sri Lanka.
