Nurses at Govt. Hospitals commences token strike

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government Nursing Officers’ Association stated that Nurses at Government Hospitals will launch an island-wide token strike from 7.00 AM on Monday (08).

Accordingly, around 60,000 members belonging to 16 Trade Unions are expected to withdraw from services for 24-hours, citing the failure of Authorities to provide solutions to their demands.
