SLFP fails to reach agreement on support for budget

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) on Tuesday (02) failed to reach an agreement pertaining to its support for the 2019 Budget.

The SLFP Parliamentary Group met President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday to decide the final vote of the Budget.

The meeting which was held at the President’s Official Residence came to an end without reaching an agreement.

However, the final decision is expected to be taken on Thursday (04).
