Recall Azeez, arrest Mano Tittawela: SB Dissanayake

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPFA MP S.B. Dissanayake addressing a press conference called on the President to immediately recall Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Geneva A.L.A. Azeez and to arrest Mano Tittawela for directing him to put the signature on the UNHRC resolution without the knowledge of the President, the Foreign Ministry and the Parliament.

“At the UNHRC we signed the resolution to consider Sri Lanka again in two years.  Who gave the directive to the ambassador to sign it? It is Mano Tittawela. He works with Madame Chandrika.  In addition, he works as an advisor to Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera. The Foreign Minister does not know about this. The President does not know about this and the Parliament does not know about this. Therefore, I like to tell the President to immediately recall the Ambassador to Sri Lanka and sack him and punish him.  Immediately arrest Mano Tittawela. He does not have any right to ask the Ambassador to sign the document,” he said.
