US Envoy, Army Commander hold talks on post-war projects

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Ambassador of the United States (US) in Sri Lanka, Alaina B Teplitz, called on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake on Thursday (28) at the Army Headquarters in Colombo.

The meeting was focused on the Army’s reconciliation mechanism, humanitarian civil-military projects, nation-building, land release, and contribution to development projects.

Defence Attaché of the US Embassy in Sri Lanka, Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Hess and an Embassy Official were also present during the visit.
