“Methusaleh” re-developed for Michael B. Jordan

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Warner Bros. Pictures is set to re-develop its long in the works “Methusaleh” film, with the project now being reconfigured as a star vehicle for Michael B. Jordan.

The actor will play a man who has managed to stay alive for over four centuries without showing the physical signs of age. In that time he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.

The plan is for a potential franchise with a rich mythology. Jordan, David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford will produce.

Warners has been trying to get the project running for years, with various writers and actors attached at one time for another including Tom Cruise.

Jordan is developing “Black Leopard, Red Wolf,” is attached to star in Denzel Washington’s “Journal for Jordan” and Gerard McMurray’s “Silver Bear”.
