Maldivian teachers to be trained in Sri Lanka

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Education Ministry has agreed to train teachers from the Maldives Islands here.

Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam left to Maldives yesterday (09th Thursday) to sign the Memorandum-of-Understanding (MOU) with regard to this.

He said yesterday (09th Thursday) that the decision was made after the Maldivian government requested for teacher training in Sri Lanka.
