Supreme Court postpones hearing into Karannagoda’s FR

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Considering of the Fundamental Rights (FR) petition filed by Lawyers of the former Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda preventing the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) from arresting Karannagoda, postponed by the Supreme Court till 07 March.

Karannagoda’s Lawyers filed the FR petition in the Supreme Court on Monday (25), stating that there is no evidence to back the allegations raised against their client by the CID over the case involving the abduction and disappearance of eleven youth between 2008 – 2009.
