Kabir appears before Presidential Commission on SriLankan and Mihin Airlines

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister of Highways and Road Development, and Petroleum Resources Development, Kabir Hashim on Wednesday (20) appeared before the Presidential Commission to investigate the corruption allegations at the SriLankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka.

The relevant Presidential Commission was appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to inquire into allegations of large scale frauds and malpractices in SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering Limited and Mihin Lanka (Private) Limited, during the period of 01 January 2006 to January 31 2018.

Retired Supreme Court Judge Anil Gunaratne functions as the Chairman of the Commission.
