Colombo gets new road rule from today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – In bid to reduce traffic congestion, the Kynsey Road from the Horton Place to the Carey College Junction will be restricted to traffic moving towards Colombo from Monday (18), the Police stated.

Accordingly, the aforementioned routes will be restricted to traffic moving towards Colombo for an hour from 7.00 AM to 8.00 AM from today onwards, in-order to increase access for vehicles travelling towards Colombo from the Ayurveda Junction in Borella.

Earlier, this was a one-way road only for thirty-minutes from 7.30 AM to 8 AM.
