Sri Lanka – Indonesia to sign two MoUs

(UDHAYAM,INDONISIA ) – President Maithripala Sirisena who is engaged in an official visit to Indonesia is expected to engage in discussions with several political leaders today.

The President’s Media Division said Sri Lanka and Indonesia are expected to sign two Memorandum of Understanding.

An MoU between the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia and the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development of Sri Lanka on marine and fisheries cooperation and another MoU between the Marketing Service Agency for the Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives of Indonesia and the National Craft Council of Sri Lanka on traditional industrial cooperation will be signed.

President Sirisena who left the island on Monday for Indonesia, yesterday addressed the 2017 Indian Ocean Rim Association Summit in Jakarta.

The President also engaged in bilateral discussions with several Heads of State on the sidelines of the summit.
