Emirates Airbus A380 lands at BIA due to medical emergency

(UTV|COLOMBO) – An Emirates Airbus A380 was heading to Australia from Dubai landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today (28) after an employee on the plane fell sick.

The airline, EK 408, had 420 passengers and staff at the time it landed.

The employee who was sick was taken to hospital for medical attention.
