Main accused of Mt. Lavinia weapons case surrenders

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The main suspect connected to the incident where weapons were discovered in the Mt. Lavinia Magistrate’s Court surrendered to the police through a lawyer last night (02nd Thursday).

It has been reported that Shalu Roshan Indika Silva surrendered to the police and was subsequently arrested.

A pistol, a revolver and 10 bullets were found in a parcel in the public area of the Mt. Lavinia prison.

20 individuals arrested on suspicion were produced before courts and were remanded until the 13th of March.
