UPFA to attend Parliament sessions on Dec. 18

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarians have decided to attend Parliament sessions scheduled to be held on 18 December.

UPFA Parliamentarian Kanchana Wijesekera stated that the UPFA did not boycott Parliament proceedings, “We considered Parliament to be dissolved. But, as the Supreme Court ruled that President Maithripala Sirisena’s decision to dissolve Parliament was unconstitutional, we have to respect that decision.”
