(UDHAYAM,COLOMBO) – The Government Medical Officers Association says a strike action will be launched by all doctors attached to state hospitals in the Western Province in opposition of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine.
Speaking to NewsRadio, member of the GMOA Executive Committee Dr. Senal Fernando said the strike will commence at 8am and continue till 12pm.
Senal Fernando said a massive protest will be held against SAITM at Viharamahadevi Park following the strike.
Dr. Senal Fernando said the strike action is based on 3 key factors.
