Galleries closed for Parliament session today; UPFA to boycott session

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Public Viewing and the Speaker’s Special Invitees’ Galleries have been closed for the Parliament session on Wednesday (12).

Parliament is due to convene at 1.00 this afternoon.

Meanwhile the Parliamentary Group of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) have decided to boycott the Parliament session today.

The decision was reached during a UPFA Parliamentary Group meeting held Tuesday (11).
