(UTV|COLOMBO) – Water supply to Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwala, Aluthgama and Bentota areas will be suspended for 15 hours today (16), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated.
The water cut will be imposed from 08.30 am to 11.30 pm today.
Due to the essential maintenance work of the Ceylon Electricity Board, this action has been taken as a result of the power cut to the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, the water cut will be imposed in Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Kalutara, North, South, Nagoda and Katukurunda areas.
In addition, the water supply will also be suspended in Payagala, Piliminawatta, Bombuwala, Maggona, Beruwala, Kaluwamodara, Moragalla, Aluthgama, Dharga Town and Bentota.
